The giants eyes flickered open. How many years had he been imprisoned in here? 5,6,7? 50? Who knows? But now he would make his comeback. But why was he down here? Then it came back to him. The battle, the fight, the humiliation. The horrible defeat when he was so close to having it all, so close to winning her heart. But the asteroid mutation that turned him into a giant. Everyone now thought he was evil. If people saw him as that what was the point of being anything else. The giant’s hand started to rise from the ground.

As I gazed up at the stars on my ceiling, a sudden thought came to me. I could fly! I would go soaring, above the clouds and be the first human to do so without an aeroplane. That night, I started working on my plan. Nothing, nothing, nothing. No way I could do it except with magic, and that didn’t exist.
As I got closer and closer to the end of high school, I started thinking less and less about it and more about aeronautics. I decided to give up on that and fly a real plane. I never stopped thinking about it. Billy looked out into the big space of nothingness. There wasn't a single thing to be seen apart from the endless array of fluffy balls of air, clouds. He had been traveling for months now and he missed being able to wake up every morning and go outside, go to school or even look outside into his back garden. He couldn't do that anymore. “One day,” he said “One day I will land this ship, house or whatever its called. I’ll see my family and run around with my friends.” Every day he would say this but it never happened.
As I walked in the park I saw a dot floating towards me. When it got closer I found out it was a balloon with a letter attached to it. I opened the envelope finding a blank piece of paper. I wondered why someone would send a balloon with a blank piece of paper when I noticed something. If you hold the paper to the light you can see a letter. All of a sudden, a bunch of balloons started coming towards me! I unwrapped and read all of the letters to find it spelled out some words… Happy birthday!
I edged, slowly to the unsteady handles that lead to the bridge. I placed my foot onto the first shaky plank. The wood crumbled beneath me as I took a second step. Before I knew it I was already half way there. The next thing I did was a mistake though. I coughed. But thats all it took for the bridge to give way. I fell. Desperate though, I managed to grab on to a remaining plank and I don't fall. Hauling my way back up, I get back to safety. I was very lucky. Beneath me were sharp rocks.
Sir Willard Duncan. No one really knows if he’s still alive of just a rumour, but he defiantly was once alive and he caused some serious trouble…on purpose. I know that he’s still alive, because of one day.
He thought of a crazy invention to make people permanently one colour. But first he tested it on sheep. I saw him do it. I wouldn't have thought it was him if he wasn't looking suspicious, and he didn't have a crazy look in his eyes. He did it on sheep but I stopped him before he did it on humans. Not so far away in a magical land there lived an ogre tribe. This ogre tribe was not a very big tribe, but like us humans they had counsellors or leaders. In this particular ogre tribe there were 3 leaders and these 3 leaders sat in a small clearance in the middle of a forest to discuss important matters. In the clearance where the ogres sat there were three beautifully decorated chairs. The first chair, where the leader of the ogre tribe sat, was covered in a delicate flower pattern and the counsellors' chairs were covered in a beautiful mosaic fabric.
The three chairs stand in the middle of the forest. No one knows how they got there only why they got there. There is a legend about the three chairs. They say that a long time ago there lived three wise men or wizards, as you could call them. The wizards did not want to sit on a throne and rule so one day the chairs appeared and the wizards sat in them. Every week there would be a day where the people could come and say their problems to the wizards and the wizards tried to fix the problems.
Three chairs. In the middle of the forest.
I was walking in the woods with my friend when we came across the three chairs. We both looked around, wondering where the chairs came from, when a loud, booming voice came from the sky. “Step away from the chairs!” cried the voice. Me and my friend slowly backed away, hoping that whoever was talking to us would just leave us in peace. “These chairs are mine! Go, go away NOW!” To this day, I still regret what we did. We had a 50/50 chance of being right. We picked wrong. Jack’s heart was racing fast. He had just fallen through his bedroom closet to find himself in a much scarier version of his room. There were scratches through the wall paper and over turned furniture. Whatever must live here is very big and has anger issues thought Jack. Just then he heard a terrifying roar followed by heavy stomps. The Roar was enough to send Jack back through the closet and back to his real room. When he returned he realised he could never tell anyone because they will never believe him. As years and years past Jack could never forget about the parallel bedroom and never returned.
