The road was never ending, deserted, dusty and desolate, the ground as hot as the blazing sun. As I slowly rolled down my window a miniscule, refreshing breeze brushed past my face. Signs stopped appearing and we realised that we were lost. Mum tried to call someone for help but help was nowhere near as there was no service, people or signs! Miles down the road we discovered a lonely black bird sitting on a big red sign that read 'STOP'. A roaring, racketing, thundering, noise poured out of the car and it obeyed the sign and stopped. We soon realised that we had run out of petrol…

We have been driving for weeks from Sydney to Uluru, and still have a week to go. It’s hot and humid. As we were driving up a highway, I noticed a crow sitting on top of the next stop sign. Mum wind down the window, because the crow looked as if it was going to tell us something. It said “Ignore the stop sign, and drive ahead!” “Thanks for the advice!” said Mum. We drove up the road. The sky started to turn purple, and the ground turned aqua. “I don’t think we should of listened to the crow.”
I arrived at this place two months ago and I came across this stop sign so a stopped. By now I’m starting to get really hungry, it felt like I’d been here for centuries when a flock of galahs came along. As they fluttered around me I couldn’t help wonder why I was the only one following the rules.
I asked them why they weren’t following the rules, they replied, “what rules?”, “I’m waiting for the sign to change to go” I exclaimed, at this they burst out laughing and as they flew away I heard them say, “and they call us galah’s!”. “Honey can you please order a taxi please.” asked Ashley
“Sure, I’ll do that now.” I replied Taxi has arrived ----------- “Hi can you take our bags please?” “Uh, sure.” the taxi driver mumbled quietly “Ok then?” I said while getting into the car “Um, where would you like-“ “Alabama please” I interrupted him On the way to Alabama --------- “This doesn’t seem right; did he take a wrong turn?” Ashley whispered in my ear “I’m not sure just go with it” I answered “WOW did you see that sign and what it said?” “No? Why?” “It said Death town!” It had been a long car trip from Alabama to Washington.
Adele was getting tired of all the twist and turns of the dirt road. There was no way of knowing where she was and she couldn’t find any signs of a town close by. She wished she at least knew where the nearest town was. As she came to a curved intersection, a giant shimmery black crow swooped in and landed on a bright red stop sign. The crow stopped and stared directly into Adele’s blue eyes. All of a sudden she knew exactly where she needed to go. “I’m just a small country girl! Why did this happen to me?”
“He chose you!” “I was just riding down a deserted road a few miles from home and I came passed the stop sign. That’s when you spoke to me and I quote ‘He chose you and now you come with me.’ At first I was confused in what you said and then I realised that you were a crow. You jumped on the wheel and took me to this place and that brings us to now.” “You are special to him!” “Dad?” “No Philip!” “My next door neighbour!!!!!” Out in the desert is horrible, hot sticky, no water and only canned beans to eat. I was on my horse walking to the closest stall, that’s when I saw ‘em. Ten men on horses galloping towards me. At first I thought it was my papa coming back from the stall but then I knew it wasn’t him. They were gangsters, with black vests and guns in hand. That’s when I came to a stop sign, a crow scratching the pole. Then I realised there are no stop signs in the desert, there were no crows in the desert either……
Once I was on holiday and we drove somewhere called Sydney before we left we had to buy a lot of food and water we got twenty litres of water and we made lots of sandwiches. Along the way there was a lot of high ways some were really long and boring. While my mum was driving a bird pooed on the window then we wiped it off then we saw the bird that had done it so we went up to It was sitting on the stop sign it looked like he was hurt so we took him home
Once there was a girl called sofie she loved reading but there was one book she had looked everywhere and asks every body
One day she was strolling along and she saw a man he was reading a book. So she thought I’ve never ask that guy so she went over to him. “do you no were the book of all knowledge is please tell me” sofie cried “the words fellow the book “What does that mean “she frustratingly said So she thought about it and wondered it out yes When I went to the dessert in Australia. The roads and towns where really remote . While I was driving I came up to a stop sign with a crow on it. I’m like that’s odd why would they put a stop sign here when this is one of the worlds most remote road. There hasn’t been a car there since 2007. So stopped and started again and drove on. When a town I saw a man with a gun. Gun I got scared I drove away. I made it to the dessert safely and hid in a cave safely.
