The lava boiled and bubbled below me. I was scared. In nothing but my nightie, and a thin worn-out cardigan, I have barely any protection against this roaring volcano, and the creaky bridge which my toes are just placed on. No one to save me, no where to go, what shall I do? I ran away from home, and I am not coming back to the yelling, the slapping, and the crying alone in the bathroom. This bridge could determine the rest of my life. I don't know what I should do, but I need an answer soon.

I never believed they existed, but one is staring right at me. Okay, deep breathes. Puff, puff. Okay, wanna know what it is?
A UNICORN!!! It's big, sparkling and my name is written on it. No, not literally, but it means it's mine. Mine! I can't wait to show...no BRAG to my friends about it! I need to go to the pet shop to buy some...um...unicorn food? Is that what they eat? Is it expensive? I hope not. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I still can not believe I own one. Well, I gotta go ride it, so go find one! Why would my friend lie! It makes no sense. She told me a LIE! Ugh. Why? I thought I could trust them, but obviously not. I wish it was all a bad dream. A nightmare.I could just wake up and forget about it. Forgive them. Ask them why. Then, I saw it. I saw it with my wet, teary eyes. It was incredible, and interesting. A sign saying "The Truth- Just Ahead" I deeply wonder how it got there. Maybe someone knew. I don't know how, but they knew. Maybe they could help, and this problem would be over...
